Jolien Beelen dacht dat ze met haar startup-idee niet bij de bank moest aankloppen. "Die lenen enkel aan risico-averse bedrijven met een bewezen trackrecord, toch?" Intussen bestaat haar 'McDonald's voor healthy food' Ellow Bowl bijna een jaar. Haar eerste vestiging in Tielt-Winge opende ze met - je raadt het al - een banklening op zak. Jolien ontdekte tijdens het Fund Me-traject dat banken soms meer open staan voor vernieuwende businessideeën dan je zou denken. Waar ze het traject startte met het idee extern kapitaal te moeten ophalen, kwam ze uiteindelijk uit op een heel andere manier om haar startup te financieren.
